Ertapenem side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 25, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with escherichia infection and was treated with Ertapenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: liver function test abnormal. Ertapenem dosage: 500MG Q24 IV BOLUS. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose decreased, liver function test abnormal, pyrexia. Ertapenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, INSULIN ASPART. Patient recovered.
