Ertapenem side effect was reported by a Physician from COLOMBIA on Aug 01, 2008. Female patient, weighting 198.4 lb, was diagnosed with diabetic foot, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, thrombosis prophylaxis, pain
, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Ertapenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, cerebral ischaemia, disorientation, dizziness
, respiratory acidosis, somnolence, status epilepticus, tachycardia. Ertapenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, PRAZOSIN, ENOXAPARIN, LOVASTATIN, DIPYRONE, ALBUTEROL, ACETAMINOPHEN, BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE. Patient recovered.
