Ertapenem side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 28, 2009. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Ertapenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, convulsion, mental status changes, sluggishness, speech disorder. Ertapenem dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with TRAZODONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
