Eptifibatide side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 13, 2007. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 119.1 lb, was diagnosed with percutaneous coronary intervention and was treated with Eptifibatide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, post procedural complication, wound secretion. Eptifibatide dosage: 3.5 ML; QH; IV. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL, HEPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemodynamic instability, haemoglobin decreased, melaena, multi-organ failure, red blood cell count decreased. Eptifibatide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL BISULPHATE, LYSINE ASPIRIN, HEPARIN. Patient died on 07/18/2007.
