Eptifibatide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 14, 2006. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with percutaneous coronary intervention, postoperative care and was treated with Eptifibatide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, catheter related complication, coagulation time prolonged, haematocrit decreased, haematoma, haemorrhage, post procedural complication. Eptifibatide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac procedure complication, cardio-respiratory arrest, catheter related complication, coronary artery thrombosis. Eptifibatide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LOVENOX, AMIODARONE, DOPAMINE, CARDENE, VISIPAQUE. Patient died on 04/11/2007.
