Epoetin and haemolysis Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Epoetin Side Effects Report #5699723-6
Epoetin side effect was reported by a Physician from FINLAND on Mar 29, 2008. Female patient, 24 years of age, was diagnosed with histiocytosis haematophagic and was treated with Epoetin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, confusional state, diplopia, disease progression, epstein-barr viraemia, haemoglobin decreased, haemolysis, hepatic enzyme abnormal, leukopenia. Epoetin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SANDIMMUNE, ACYCLOVIR, IMMUNE GLOBULIN INTRAVENOUS, DEXAMETASON, FERROUS GLYCINE SULPHATE, FOLIC ACID, ETOPOSIDE, ROCEPHALIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/13/2008.
