Epoetin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 26, 2008. Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 183.0 lb, was diagnosed with anaemia and was treated with Epoetin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral infarction, diplopia, dysarthria, haemoglobin decreased, hypoaesthesia, paraesthesia, transient ischaemic attack, vision blurred. Epoetin dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, confusional state, diplopia, disease progression, epstein-barr viraemia, haemoglobin decreased, haemolysis, hepatic enzyme abnormal, leukopenia. Epoetin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SANDIMMUNE, ACYCLOVIR, IMMUNE GLOBULIN INTRAVENOUS, DEXAMETASON, FERROUS GLYCINE SULPHATE, FOLIC ACID, ETOPOSIDE, ROCEPHALIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/13/2008.
