Epivir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 14, 2006. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection , disseminated tuberculosis and was treated with Epivir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erythema, leukopenia, pruritus, rash , white blood cell count decreased. Epivir dosage: 150MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with RETROVIR, RIMACTANE, ISCOTIN, ESANBUTOL, COTRIM, STOCRIN, ZIAGEN, ZERIT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cytomegalovirus chorioretinitis, decreased appetite, lactic acidosis, malaise, pneumonia , vomiting, white blood cell count decreased. Epivir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZIAGEN, RETROVIR, VIDEX EC, ZERIT, STOCRIN, KALETRA, GANCICLOVIR. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 05/26/2004.
