Epivir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 21, 2005. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Epivir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, leukopenia, platelet count decreased. Epivir dosage: 300MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with RETROVIR, VIRACEPT. Patient recovered.

Epivir dosage: 150MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZERIT, VIRACEPT, REYATAZ, NORVIR, PURSENNID, GLYBURIDE, ZIAGEN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, haemoglobin decreased, neutrophil count decreased, pancytopenia, platelet count decreased, weight decreased, white blood cell count decreased. Epivir dosage: 300MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZIAGEN, NORVIR, TRIFLUCAN, MOXIFLOXACIN HYDROCHLORIDE, REYATAZ, BACTRIM, CLARITHROMYCIN, ETHAMBUTOL. Patient died on 12/15/2006.
