Epivir Side Effects Report #4708541-4
Epivir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 29, 2005. Male patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection , mycobacterium avium complex infection and was treated with Epivir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, dyspnoea, hyperthyroidism, immune reconstitution syndrome, lactic acidosis, malaise, nausea , tremor. Epivir dosage: 150MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with RETROVIR, EFAVIRENZ, GANCICLOVIR, CLARITHROMYCIN, COTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
