Epivir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 10, 2007. Male patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with kaposi's sarcoma  and was treated with Epivir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acid fast bacilli infection, acute respiratory distress syndrome, body temperature increased, bronchoalveolar lavage abnormal, chest x-ray abnormal, computerised tomogram abnormal, cough, crepitations, dyspnoea. Epivir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE. Patient died.
