Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with systemic antiviral treatment and was treated with Epivir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cryptococcosis, cyst, deafness, fungal infection , hypoaesthesia, immune reconstitution syndrome, intraspinal abscess, lung neoplasm. Epivir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, STAVUDINE, INDINIVIR SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
