Epinephrine Side Effects Report #4660541-9
Epinephrine side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 02, 2005. Male patient, 35 years of age, was diagnosed with resuscitation, thyrotoxic periodic paralysis and was treated with Epinephrine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac enzymes increased, echocardiogram abnormal, ejection fraction decreased, hypokalaemia, loss of consciousness, ventricular arrhythmia. Epinephrine dosage: 10 ML, TWO 1MG BOLUS DOSES. During the same period patient was treated with DEXTROSE W, PROPYLTHIOURACIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
