Ephedrine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Dec 18, 2006. Female patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with hypotension and was treated with Ephedrine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, hepatomegaly, hypotension, pco2 decreased, physical examination abnormal, post procedural complication, respiratory disorder, somnolence, stridor. Ephedrine dosage: 6 MG. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL TRANSDERMAL SYSTEM, ISOFLURANE, MORPHINE, ONDANSETRON, PROPOFOL, AMOXICILLIN, DICLOFENAC, GLYCOPYRROLATE. Patient recovered.
