Entacapone Side Effects Report #5244062-0
Entacapone side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Feb 07, 2007. Male patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease , neuralgia and was treated with Entacapone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hallucination, lumbar spinal stenosis, neuralgia, spinal operation. Entacapone dosage: 200 MG, 5QD. During the same period patient was treated with GABAPENTIN, CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Entacapone side effect was reported by a Health Professional from POLAND on Sept 17, 2007. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Entacapone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiopulmonary failure, cardiovascular insufficiency, delusion, hallucination, muscle rigidity, psychotic disorder , shock. Entacapone dosage: 200 MG ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LEVODOPA, TRIHEXYLPHENIDYL, ZOPICLONE, CLONAZEPAM, PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Entacapone side effect was reported by a Physician from POLAND on Apr 21, 2008. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Entacapone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiopulmonary failure, delusion, dyspnoea, hallucination, hypotension, muscle rigidity, psychotic disorder . Entacapone dosage: 200 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LEVODOPA, TRIHEXYLPHENIDYL, ZOPICLONE, CLONAZEPAM, PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
