Entacapone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 26, 2008. Female patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with tremor, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Entacapone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: affect lability, amnesia, condition aggravated, confusional state, delirium, failure to thrive, fatigue, gait disturbance, hallucination. Entacapone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMIODARONE, ALPRAZOLAM, CYPROHEPTADINE, CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 121.9 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Entacapone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, deep brain stimulation, dyskinesia, haemorrhage, inguinal hernia, inguinal hernia repair, parkinson's disease , post procedural haematoma, pyrexia. Entacapone dosage: 700 MG. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
