Enfuvirtide Side Effects Report #5922240-2
Enfuvirtide side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Oct 09, 2008. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection , infection prophylaxis, toxoplasmosis and was treated with Enfuvirtide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: furuncle, injection site haemorrhage, injection site reaction, rash vesicular, staphylococcal abscess, status epilepticus. Enfuvirtide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TMC, PYRIMETHAMINE, SULFADIAZINE, LEUCOVORIN CALCIUM. Patient died.

Female patient, 43 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, hiv infection  and was treated with Enfuvirtide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: body temperature increased, chest pain , chills, cough, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, injection site abscess, injection site reaction, nausea . Enfuvirtide dosage: 90 MG SQ Q12H. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Enfuvirtide side effect was reported by a Physician from NIGERIA on Mar 20, 2009. Female patient, 38 years of age, was treated with Enfuvirtide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood triglycerides increased, hiv infection , injection site reaction. Enfuvirtide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NELFINAVIR, ZIDOVUDINE, LAMIVUDINE, TENOFOVIR, DIDANOSINE, EFAVIRENZ, NEVIRAPINE, LOPINAVIR. Patient recovered.
