Emtriva side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on June 24, 2005. Male patient, 64 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fanconi syndrome, renal failure acute. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, NORVIR, REYATAZ, LASIX, ALDACTONE, FENOFIBRATE, APROVEL, VINCRISTINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood calcium decreased, exfoliative rash, fanconi syndrome, gastroenteritis . Emtriva dosage: 200 MG QD ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VIRAMUNE, VIDEX. Patient died on 05/21/2008.
