Emtriva Side Effects Report #5783002-2
Emtriva side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on June 19, 2008. Female patient, 39 years of age, weighting 93.70 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood calcium decreased, exfoliative rash, fanconi syndrome, gastroenteritis . Emtriva dosage: 200 MG QD ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VIRAMUNE, VIDEX. Patient died on 05/21/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acne , dermatitis acneiform, exfoliative rash, immune reconstitution syndrome, rash erythematous, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, LAMIVUDINE, NEVIRAPINE, RITONAVIR, SAQUINAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acne , blood hiv rna increased , dermatitis acneiform, exfoliative rash, immune reconstitution syndrome, rash erythematous, rebound effect, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, LAMIVUDINE, NEVIRAPINE, RITONAVIR, SAQUINAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
