Emtriva Side Effects Report #4633327-9
Emtriva side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Mar 25, 2005. Male patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytolytic hepatitis, hepatic failure, hepatitis cholestatic, hypoxia, multi-organ failure, pyrexia. Emtriva dosage: 200 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, NORVIR, TELZIR, LAMIVUDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/23/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacterial infection , cutaneous vasculitis, cytolytic hepatitis, hypocalcaemia, hyponatraemia, ileus paralytic, thrombocytopenia, vasculitis gastrointestinal. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, KALETRA, TEGRETOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, alpha 1 globulin increased, blood albumin decreased, blood amylase increased, cutaneous vasculitis, cytolytic hepatitis, enteritis, gastrointestinal inflammation. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, KALETRA, TEGRETOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
