Emtriva Side Effects Report #4855579-2
Emtriva side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Nov 29, 2005. Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, aggression, ascites, aspartate aminotransferase increased, atelectasis, bacteria sputum identified, beta haemolytic streptococcal infection, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood calcium decreased. Emtriva dosage: 200 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, SUSTIVA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 39 years of age, weighting 93.70 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood calcium decreased, exfoliative rash, fanconi syndrome, gastroenteritis . Emtriva dosage: 200 MG QD ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VIRAMUNE, VIDEX. Patient died on 05/21/2008.

Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, SUSTIVA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
