Emtriva Side Effects Report #4855579-2
Emtriva side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Nov 29, 2005. Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, aggression, ascites, aspartate aminotransferase increased, atelectasis, bacteria sputum identified, beta haemolytic streptococcal infection, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood calcium decreased. Emtriva dosage: 200 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, SUSTIVA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, alanine aminotransferase increased, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, ascites, aspartate aminotransferase increased, atelectasis, atrophy, base excess negative, beta haemolytic streptococcal infection. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, SUSTIVA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol withdrawal syndrome, ascites, brain stem syndrome, candidiasis, chlamydial infection, delirium tremens, depression , hypoglycaemia, ileus paralytic. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, SUSTIVA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
