Emtriva Side Effects Report #4888134-9
Emtriva side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Jan 12, 2006. Male patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection , prophylaxis and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphasia , asthenia, demyelination, fatigue, peripheral paralysis. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, KALETRA, BACTRIM DS, TRIZIVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anaemia macrocytic, aphasia , asthenia, balance disorder, bronchitis , central pontine myelinolysis, cerebellar syndrome, cholestasis. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, KALETRA, TRIZIVIR, INVIRASE, NORVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/09/2006.

Emtriva side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Feb 13, 2006. Male patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alpha 1 globulin abnormal, anaemia macrocytic, aphasia , asthenia, balance disorder, blood immunoglobulin g increased, bronchitis , c-reactive protein increased, cd4 lymphocytes increased. Emtriva dosage: 200 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, KALETRA, TRIZIVIR, INVIRASE, NORVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/09/2006.
