Emtriva side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on July 05, 2005. Male patient, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtriva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, alanine aminotransferase increased, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, ascites, aspartate aminotransferase increased, atelectasis, atrophy, base excess negative, beta haemolytic streptococcal infection. Emtriva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, SUSTIVA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
