Male patient, 46 years of age, weighting 172.6 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtricitabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, coordination abnormal, delirium, diarrhoea, eating disorder , hyponatraemia, inappropriate affect, pyrexia, vomiting. Emtricitabine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EFAVIRENZ, VICODIN, MIRTAZAPIN, CITALOPRAM, PENTAMIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
