Emtricitabine Side Effects Report #4668625-6
Emtricitabine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 10, 2005. Male patient, 40 years of age, weighting 180.0 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtricitabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood triglycerides increased, diverticulum, duodenitis, pancreatitis, renal cyst. Emtricitabine dosage: 200 MG 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE, KALETRA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
