Emtricitabine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Jan 11, 2005. Female patient, 49 years of age, weighting 154.1 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtricitabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol withdrawal syndrome, alcoholism , aspartate aminotransferase increased, bipolar disorder , blood bilirubin increased, communication disorder, condition aggravated, delirium. Emtricitabine dosage: 200 MG 1 IN 1 D ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with KALETRA, ZERIT, PAXIL, ATIVAN, ATARAX, HOMATROPINE, PREDFORTE, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient recovered.
