Elavil side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 19, 2005. Male patient, 45 years of age, weighting 222.7 lb, was diagnosed with depression , insomnia, hepatitis c , pain , diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Elavil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, electrocardiogram st-t change, hypotension, hypoxia, metastases to lung, overdose, pneumonia aspiration, sinus tachycardia, toxic induced encephalopathy. Elavil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with REBETOL, NAPROSYN, GLIPIZIDE, CAPTOPRIL, ZOLOFT, LIPITOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: encephalopathy, hypotension, hypoxia, loss of consciousness, overdose, pneumonia aspiration, tachycardia. Elavil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NAPROSYN, REBETOL, GLIPIZIDE, CAPTOPRIL, ZOLOFT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
