Elavil side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 21, 2006. Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with depression , chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Elavil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, condition aggravated, confusional state, constipation , depression , fall , feeling abnormal, fracture , orthostatic hypotension. Elavil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, ALBUTEROL, SPIRIVA, ADVAIR DISKUS. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fall , somnolence, upper limb fracture. Elavil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MYSOLINE, VICODIN, RENAVITE, PHOSLO, AMBIEN. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 88 years of age, weighting 174.2 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , tremor, vertigo, dizziness  and was treated with Elavil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, bradycardia, contusion, diplopia, dizziness , excoriation, fall , haemorrhage. Elavil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, PRIMIDONE, MECLIZINE, PRINIVIL, FEXOFENADINE HYDROCHLORIDE, METOPROLOL, DOCUSATE POTASSIUM. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
