Male patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis ii and was treated with Elaprase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, cyanosis, grand mal convulsion, incorrect dose administered, infusion related reaction, pyrexia, tremor. Elaprase dosage: 13 MG, 1X/WEEK, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with GLUCOCORTICOIDS HYDROXYZINE, DIPHENHYDRAMINE, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient recovered.
