Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Ecotrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diverticulitis, faeces discoloured, haemoglobin decreased, rectal haemorrhage. Ecotrin dosage: 325MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PRAVACHOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
