Ecotrin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 17, 2005. Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 270.5 lb, was diagnosed with thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Ecotrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastric ulcer, gastritis, gastritis erosive, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, nausea , stomach discomfort, vertigo. Ecotrin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DAYPRO, DIOVAN, FUROSEMIDE, GLUCOSAMINE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 81 years of age, weighting 85.98 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, ill-defined disorder and was treated with Ecotrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: epigastric discomfort, epistaxis, gastritis erosive, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, haematemesis, hiatus hernia, increased upper airway secretion, nausea , oesophagitis. Ecotrin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AFRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 65 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with epilepsy , blood cholesterol increased, osteoporosis , vitamin supplementation and was treated with Ecotrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, asthenia, blood iron decreased, cardiac stress test abnormal, dyspnoea, faeces discoloured, fatigue, gastritis erosive, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Ecotrin dosage: 81MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZONEGRAN, KEPPRA, TOPROL, ZETIA, ACTONEL, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
