Econazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Nov 17, 2008. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with dermatitis, atrial fibrillation
, deep vein thrombosis
and was treated with Econazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood fibrinogen increased, coagulation time prolonged, haemoglobin decreased, international normalised ratio increased, respiratory failure, spontaneous haematoma, upper airway obstruction. Econazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACENOCOUMAROL, IRBESARTAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
