Ebixa Side Effects Report #4831920-1
Ebixa side effect was reported by a Health Professional from CANADA on Oct 31, 2005. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with dementia alzheimer's type, hypertension and was treated with Ebixa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, pyrexia, renal failure acute, thrombocytopenia. Ebixa dosage: 10 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with ARICEPT, DIOVAN, SERAX, SEROQUEL. Patient died on 08/01/2005.

Ebixa side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Jan 25, 2007. Female patient, 85 years of age, was treated with Ebixa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood culture positive, escherichia infection, pyelonephritis, renal failure acute, rhabdomyolysis. Ebixa dosage: 5 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZYPREXA, ATHYMIL, LEXOMIL, LORAZEPAM, PARACETAMOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Ebixa dosage: 5 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with ARICEPT, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, QUETIAPINE FUMARATE, SINEMET, DIAMICROM MR, NITRO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
