Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 128.0 lb, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Duetact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: burning sensation, feeling abnormal, hyperhidrosis, palpitations, presyncope. Duetact dosage: 30/4 MG, 1 IN 1 D, PER ORAL, 1/2 TAB 30/4 MG, 1 IN 1 D, PER ORAL. Patient recovered.
