Female patient, 89 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with platelet count increased and was treated with Droxia. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, rash
, vomiting. Droxia dosage: REDUCED TO 300MG DAILY,REDUCED TO 200MG DAILY FOR ABOUT6MONTHS - 1YEAR.ATPRESENT TAKES 400MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.
