Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 09, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with sepsis  and was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemorrhage intracranial, intraventricular haemorrhage, leg amputation, necrosis, subarachnoid haemorrhage. Drotrecogin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN, CEFEPIME, CEFAZOLIN, INSULIN, DOCUSATE, FENTANYL, HYDROCORTISONE, METRONIDAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 13, 2006. Female patient, 50 years of age, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with organ failure, sepsis syndrome and was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral ischaemia, intraventricular haemorrhage, subarachnoid haemorrhage, subdural haemorrhage. Drotrecogin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DROTRECOGIN ALFA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
