Drotrecogin Side Effects Report #4921259-8
Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 22, 2006. Female patient, 66 years of age, weighting 111.1 lb, was diagnosed with sepsis , thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage, depression , gastrointestinal haemorrhage, renal impairment, sepsis , thrombocytopenia. Drotrecogin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ENOXAPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/13/2006.

Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on June 17, 2008. Female patient, weighting 197.3 lb, was diagnosed with sepsis  and was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridium difficile colitis, coagulopathy, diverticular perforation, haemorrhage, sepsis . Drotrecogin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROCORTISONE, CEFEPIME, DILTIAZEM, LOVENOX, METOPROLOL, METRONIDAZOLE, PROTONIX, VANCOMYCIN. Patient recovered.
