Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 15, 2005. Male patient, 47 years of age, weighting 330.7 lb, was diagnosed with multi-organ failure, septic shock and was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: catheter related complication, platelet count increased, secretion discharge. Drotrecogin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DROTRECOGIN ALFA, LEVOFLOXACIN, VANCOMYCIN, OXACILLIN, DOPAMINE, NOREPINEPHRINE, PROPOFOL, ESMOLOL. Patient recovered.
