Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Physician from POLAND on Aug 21, 2006. Female patient, 32 years of age, was diagnosed with septic shock and was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, caesarean section, coagulopathy, haemorrhage, hysterectomy , maternal condition affecting foetus, multi-organ failure, premature labour. Drotrecogin dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Apr 07, 2005. Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 233.2 lb, was diagnosed with sepsis  and was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, thrombocytopenia. Drotrecogin dosage: 60MG, 30MGQ12H, INFUSION. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 19, 2009. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 156.5 lb, was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, anaemia, anoxic encephalopathy, brain oedema, continuous haemodiafiltration, haemodialysis, haemorrhage intracranial, ischaemic cerebral infarction, leukocytosis. Drotrecogin dosage: unknown. Patient died on 02/10/2009.
