Drotrecogin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on May 30, 2007. Male patient, 31 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with sepsis What is  sepsis, hypotension, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, sedation, analgesic effect and was treated with Drotrecogin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, chest x-ray abnormal, lower respiratory tract infection, rales. Drotrecogin dosage: 0.024 MG/KG, EVERY HOUR. During the same period patient was treated with NORADRENALINE, RANITIDINE, HYDROCORTISONE, TAZOCIN, METRONIDAZOLE, PROPOFOL, MORPHINE, MIDAZOLAM. Patient recovered.
