Drospirenone side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Jan 19, 2009. Female patient, 22 years of age, was diagnosed with oral contraception and was treated with Drospirenone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, flank pain, haemoptysis, pleurisy, pneumonia , pulmonary embolism . Drospirenone dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, dyspnoea exertional, hyperventilation, panic reaction, wheezing. Drospirenone dosage: 3MG/0.03MG DAILY PO, 2-3 MONTHS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
