Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with prostatitis, ankylosing spondylitis , benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Doxycycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eye pain, inflammation, oropharyngeal pain, pruritus, rhinorrhoea, swollen tongue, urticaria. Doxycycline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRIMETHOPRIM, DICLOFENAC, TAMSULOSIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
