Doxorubicin Side Effects Report #4713605-5
Doxorubicin side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on June 28, 2005. Female patient, 34 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, ill-defined disorder, anaemia and was treated with Doxorubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, ascites, brain oedema, budd-chiari syndrome, cytolytic hepatitis, diarrhoea haemorrhagic, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, hepatorenal syndrome. Doxorubicin dosage: 20 MG/M2 (1 IN 1 D), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with IFOSFAMIDE, MESNA, DEXAMETHASONE, DACARBAZINE, ONDANSETRON, CHLORPROMAZINE, DARBEPOETIN ALFA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
