Doxazosin Side Effects Report #6049474-3
Doxazosin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY on Jan 09, 2009. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, coronary artery disease  and was treated with Doxazosin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time shortened, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, dehydration, hypotension, syncope. Doxazosin dosage: 8 MG, REDUCED TO 2 MG SINCE 31-MAY-2008 ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METFORMIN, MODIP, RAMIPRIL, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
