Doxazosin Side Effects Report #4710548-8
Doxazosin side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on June 21, 2005. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with ill-defined disorder and was treated with Doxazosin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, hepatic pain, liver disorder. Doxazosin dosage: 12 MG (4MG, THREE TIMES DAILY, INTERVAL: DAILY), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL SUCCINATE. Patient recovered.

Doxazosin dosage: 8 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MINIPRESS, BENIDIPINE HYDROCHLORIDE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, NIFEDIPINE, VALSARTAN, TELMISARTAN. Patient died on 01/30/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time shortened, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, dehydration, hypotension, syncope. Doxazosin dosage: 8 MG, REDUCED TO 2 MG SINCE 31-MAY-2008 ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METFORMIN, MODIP, RAMIPRIL, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
