Donepezil side effect was reported by a Physician from SOUTH AFRICA on July 20, 2006. Male patient, 70 years of age, weighting 178.6 lb, was diagnosed with vascular dementia and was treated with Donepezil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation , diarrhoea, faecal incontinence, lower respiratory tract infection, pneumonia . Donepezil dosage: 5 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL, 10 MG 1 IN 1 D; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, ALLOPURINOL, METFORMIN, GLICLAZIDE, VERAPAMIL, METHYLDOPA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
