Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 116.8 lb, was diagnosed with dementia alzheimer's type and was treated with Donepezil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coagulation time prolonged, deep vein thrombosis , humerus fracture, hypotension, international normalised ratio decreased, peptic ulcer , peptic ulcer haemorrhage. Donepezil dosage: 10 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with COUMADIN, DESONIDE, ATENOLOL, VICODIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
