Dofetilide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 29, 2006. Male patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Dofetilide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: torsade de pointes, ventricular tachycardia. Dofetilide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOTHYROXINE, RAMIPRIL, METOPROLOL, WARFARIN, FUROSEMIDE. Patient recovered.

Dofetilide side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Aug 11, 2005. Male patient, 46 years of age, weighting 242.5 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Dofetilide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain hypoxia, cardiac arrest , coma, congestive cardiomyopathy, convulsion, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, pneumonia , torsade de pointes, ventricular fibrillation. Dofetilide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENPROCOUMON. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
