Dofetilide Side Effects Report #4672752-7
Dofetilide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on May 17, 2005. Male patient, 46 years of age, weighting 242.5 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Dofetilide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , brain hypoxia, cardiac arrest , coma, congestive cardiomyopathy, convulsion, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, loss of consciousness, pneumonia . Dofetilide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENPROCOUMON. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain hypoxia, cardiac arrest , coma, congestive cardiomyopathy, convulsion, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, pneumonia , torsade de pointes, ventricular fibrillation. Dofetilide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENPROCOUMON. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
